Design analysis

What makes this set work

Skip Orange#ff7500Pure White#ffffffSoft Gray#f5f5f5Vibrant Yellow#fcd116

SkipTheDishes employs a 'panoramic brand' strategy, using a continuous orange background and a sweeping, low-positioned wave graphic that connects all six slides. This creates a cohesive narrative flow that feels like a single presentation rather than individual images. By centering the device frame, they maintain focus on the UI while using the top third of each screen for large, high-contrast typography. The design intentionally breaks the UI pattern at slide two with a high-saturation lifestyle image of groceries, signaling their expansion beyond just restaurant food. A designer can steal this 'bookend' approach-starting and ending with pure brand logos-to ensure high brand recall even if a user only glances at the first and last slides.

Source and method. Screenshots come from the US App Store listing and are preserved in Screenspo's curated corpus. Layout, caption, content, background, and palette observations are derived from the visible listing artwork. Typeface names are not inferred; transcribed copy, tone, and position are the supported typography evidence, while layout tags record composition and device treatment. View the source listing.
